Well week three was spent developing our robots and the software, concluding the week with a competition. The week was spent with a lot of headaches and success. If I had the supplies I might have my students build these robots in class but it just isnt realistic. The competition was a lot of fun and we had a great time seeing the students have such success.
I think in my class I will provide the robot already assembled and have students use them to calculate and measure travel distance, and develop and relate the relationships between distance traveled and time. This then can be represented on a graph.
